A quick read with some good basic info for writers. A lot of chapters are to short to really help. They introduce the topic, and move quickly to the next topic. Hopefully the author will consider an update to address this.
Otherwise, not bad.
This was a really informative book. I have been searching for something that I could follow step by step to learn to write great books. The layout of this book was easy to follow and was actually way more in depth then I was expecting. Its the type of book that you can pull out and use as a resource when you sit down to write.
The author is spot on with his advice. This book serves as a great reference book as well as straightforward writing. Although I write TV crime dramas, the advice is the same.
This author has some good advice on writing. Good ideas for inspiration and Great advice on Book Covers too. There is no nonsense in this book.
